Located in the middle of mountains and rivers and surrounded by lush natural beauty on all sides, there's so much to see and do this spring and all year long in Chattanooga, TN! Bring the family along for a day of adventure or an afternoon of relaxation at any of these fun destinations in and near the city:

1) Chattanooga Zoo

A day at the zoo is always a good idea, especially during the spring! The weather is perfect for strolling zoo grounds to see amazing animals and exhibits such as giraffe feedings, WILD Encounters, and private Zoo Tours. There's even a Hug A Bunny event April 15 and 16 only!

2) Rock City Gardens

This amazing walking trail is technically in Georgia atop Lookout Mountain, but it's only six miles from downtown Chattanooga. Come enjoy the wonders of soaring rock formations, caves, and lush gardens in this mountaintop setting.

3) RiverView Inn

While you're exploring Rock City Gardens, book a weekend at RiverView Inn. Whether you choose to go out and sightsee or stay close for the amenities, you'll feel relaxed and refreshed when you leave this boutique hotel.

4) Chickamauga Lake

One of the best (and unexpected!) ways to see Chattanooga is from the water at Chickamauga Lake! You can launch your own boat from one of the many marinas, or rent various types of boats to fish, relax, or have a great time with friends.

5) Chattanooga Riverwalk

Spend an afternoon strolling or biking and exploring Chattanooga's 16-mile-long Riverwalk! Winding along the southern banks of the Tennessee River, you'll find nature, culture, and cuisine throughout your journey.

6) Sculpture Fields at Montague Park

Welcome to the southeast's largest outdoor sculpture park and museum! You'll be amazed at more than 40 larger-than-life sculptures from all over the world.

7) Chattanooga Market

Opening weekend for this popular seasonal market is April 23-24, and then Chattanoogans get to enjoy its fresh produce, gourmet foods, live music, and special events all the way through December!
