Build Your New Custom Home on the Lake

One of the many joys of building a new custom home with Brown Haven is that you’re basically guaranteed to be surrounded by nature when you choose to build with us. Our homeowners love waking up, enjoying the views from their decks with their morning cup of coffee, and seeing the beautiful outdoors that nature has to offer. We may be biased, but one of our favorite marvels of nature to build near is around the various beautiful destination lakes located throughout North and South Carolina and Georgia. We pride ourselves in building quality homes inside and out so you can enjoy every aspect of your home.

South Carolina Lakes

Lake Keowee

Lake Keowee, located in Pickens County is a man-made reservoir for recreational activities and serves the need for power utilities. The lake is known for having clean and pure water which is great for fishing or swimming. Bring your fishing gear and catch some trout, bass, and catfish. Catch your fish and prepare it for dinner in one of our gourmet kitchens. If you are not into fishing, take a lunch and have a nice picnic overlooking the water. By living lakeside, you can hear the water at night and see the lake while washing dishes. You’ll have total relaxation in your own home. You’ll never want to leave. Some of our most popular floor plans in this area include CedarCliff, LakeSide Cottage, and RidgeView. If you want to live near Lake Keowee, visit our Anderson Design Studio to make this the staycation for you.

Lake Jocassee

Lake Jocassee is known to be cool year-round thanks to the cold and warm rivers feeding into it from the Appalachian Mountains. Enjoy great hiking spots around the lake and take in the great view. Lake Jocassee is also known for its fishing. It’s home to some of the most popular fish including redeye bass, salmon, and brown trout. Since you’ll be near the lake, the air will be a lot cooler which means you can spend the night outside by your outdoor fireplace. You can be outside all year round thanks to our nearby lakes. Some of our most popular floor plans around the area include our BlueRidge, Chancey, and Falling Waters.
